Landscape Construction Estimator

Company Overview:

We operate a landscape company that specializes in all aspects of Landscaping (Hardscape & Softscape). We are looking to hire a full time Junior Estimator. 

This is not a entry position. Landscape Estimating experience is a must!

Duties:

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and determine scope of work.
• Read, analyze, and review bid packages, requirements, and specifications
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and obtaining tender documents
• Solicit bid pricing from subcontractors and vendors
• Carry out any other works or assignments related to estimating or tendering as required by the department.

Qualifications:

• 2 Years’ of domestic experience in related position
• Valid driver’s license, and are able to travel within the GTA
• Have a solid understanding all aspects of Landscaping work 
• Able to read and interpret Landscaping Drawings/Blueprints
• Strong computer skills in such areas as Microsoft (Excel and Word) and Auto CAD
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize & multi-task
• Eager to learn
• Good verbal & written communication skills,
• Excellent time management and analytical skills 
• Able to work effectively independently and under tight deadlines.
