Located in North York  near  HWY 400 and Wilson AVE

Hour rate : $38.00 per hour + Shift premium

Overview:

Applicant should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A Electrician in Ontario. Prefer candidate also have a College CET.

We would  like to see 3 years of hands on experience in food manufacturing, but if your great at what you do we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative Maintenance according to specifications, instructions of Maintenance Management.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building and all of its components.
• Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
• Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and machinery.

Requirements:

• Industrial Electrician license.
• Preferably 3 years local experience in Canada from within a Food Plant Manufacturing environment.
• Trouble shooting skills for electrical & mechanical problems
• Understanding of electrical circuitry
• Knowledge of PLC’s, maintenance shop machinery and electronics
• Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it applies to an Industrial establishment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy machinery.
• Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety.
• Able to work various shifts - including the night shift.

Monday to Friday.

Afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM),

Night shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.), and 10 hours shift (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
