Maintenance Mechanic - Glass Manufacturing Equipment

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - Glass Manufacturing Equipment ($30.00 hr.) for the Day Shift for our location in Concord, Ontario. (Steel Avenue West and Adesso Drive).

Our company was established in 1969, and has been focused on the manufacturing of float glass and mirror products ever since. This includes cutting, polishing, beveling, drilling, sandblasting, chamfering, silk screening, grooving, and other various fabrications.

Maintenance Mechanics and technicians are a critical part of our first-class organization.

Requirements:

• We're looking for a reliable, responsible person with a minimum of 5 years experience to maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in general machine repairs.
• Routine preventative maintenance and repair activities on high precision machines.
• Must have a good understanding of water pumps, machine bearings and seals and have your own tools 
• Troubleshooting mechanical equipment, pneumatics and Hydraulic systems.
