Software Sales / SAAS Business Development Representative

We are a provider of Enterprise SAAS workforce management software solutions. We offers a software solution for contractor and workforce management designed to keep track of contractors and workforce certifications, health and safety training, and other related documentation specific to each particular worksite, helping our clients to ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations by mitigating risk and improving efficiencies. 

About the job: 

This role is responsible for sourcing leads, prospecting, qualifying outbound sales opportunities, and nurturing leads into new client accounts. You will develop long-term relationships with prospects to continue company growth.

In this role, you can expect to:  

  • Research new markets, study target customers, and identify business opportunities. 
  • Prospect new clients through various marketing and sales mediums.  
  • Develop and test different messaging and pitch material to improve performance.  
  • Generating qualified leads and turning leads into qualified prospects to spawn sales opportunities. 
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, social media, and networking.  
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate solution services.  
  • Keep up with market changes, new products & services, and finance in terms of pricing changes and payment plans.  
  • Understand the competitor's landscape. 
  • Assist in the maintenance of existing relationships.  

  

Requirements:  

  • A strong business and sales acumen, a positive attitude, and an approachable, professional relationship builder ready to make an impact. 
  • 1+ years in a sales role. If the experience is missing, but you have the drive, excitement, and work ethic, we’d like to hear from you.  
  • Exceptionally comfortable meeting with clients on video calls, over the phone, in-person, and through the noise gaining people’s attention.  
  • You’re engaged, organized, efficient, and can prioritize. You plan for the week ahead, maximize your days and take action. 
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Other software is beneficial. 
  • Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.  

 

You’ll have an edge if:  

  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, E-Learning, or other related services 
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas 
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics 
  • Knowledge of costs benefit analysis
